Our Location

Our hotel is situated on Rethymnon's coastal boulevard at 69 Sofokli Venizelou Street where it meets Captain Lemonia Street.

The attached map places it 500m from the city centre. It can also be located by using Google maps. The town is constructed along the coastline. The Old Town, which is the original centre, is built on a triangular shaped promontory. The Province of Rethymnon has a variety of traditional inland villages which are well worth visiting. These include: Maroulas, Axos, Margarites, Prasses, Episkopi, Chromonastiri, Kapsaliana, Anogeia with its special history and many others. There are also several coastal villages and fishing harbours with beautiful beaches such as Plakias-Damnoni, Panormo, Bali, Agia Galini and a little further along Agios Pavlos, Rodakino, Fragkokastello, Petres, Episkopi and Giorgioupoli.

Rethymnon offers hiking routes and gorges among which are Kotsyfou and Kourtaliotis to the south and Mylon and Galiano to the north. Also of note are Arkadiou, Margarites, Prassano and Patso which are further inland.

Due to its central location in Crete access to important sites is easy. These include the monastery of Arkadi, the archaeological sites of Knossos, Faistos, Gortyna and Ancient Eleftherna and museums such as the archaeological museums of Herakleion and Chania, also Herakleion Natural History Museum, the Cretaquarium in Herakleion, the Rethymnon folklore art museum and Rethymnon modern art museum.

Other places of natural beauty worth visiting are the Samaria gorge in Chania, the palm tree forest in Vai in Lasithi, the beaches of Elafonissos, Falasarna and Balos in Chania to name a few.
